Is this normal for first period after miscarriage?

My D&C was July 12

I think I’d check with your doctor it is very large. When I had my D&C I had clots like that the day of and day after the procedure but none that large for any of my cycles after. It’s possibly just leftover from the D&C and just didn’t come out till now but I’d call just to be on the safe side.

My period post D&C was weird and my nurse told me it's the body's way of getting rid of things that shouldn't be in the uterus. Maybe this was left behind post mc?

My first period after my miscarriage was very “clotty.” I didn’t have large like yours but I read somewhere that your first period after miscarriage can be heavy or have lots of clots because the uterus is contracting the remnants of the pregnancy.

Is this normal for first period after miscarriage?
