Crib training?
I have a 2 week old and have been trying to get her to nap in her crib. She doesnt do well (honestly i think the crib mattress is too cool for her) but my hubby goes back to work today. Im a FTM and clueless but know they recommend baby sleeping in parents room for 6 months to reduce risk of SIDS.
Thoughts on putting baby in crib after my husband goes to work? (Around 4:30 am I would get up, change, feed, lay back down) she will probably sleep until 8am-ish. Am I increasing her risk of SIDS by having her sleep in her nursery for the morning hours?
I would have a monitor but I would also like to be able to go back to sleep.
The point would be to allow me to get things done around the house in the morning or let me get ready why she sleeps AND get her used to the crib. I would like her to take naps in there since thats where the monitor is set up.
