Should parents still say you can't

I'm engaged and I have a 3 month baby but my fiancé and I don't live together and I live with my dad. Anyways he was over and my dad won't let him into my room it's still "no boys in the bedroom" now that I live back at home. It gets annoying when we want to be alone and talk.

So my question is should parents have a say in things like this when you're an adult with a child and getting married?
