What's the difference between mucus plug and bloody show?

Hi can anyone help! I have been loosing my mucus plug over 2 weeks been in and out of hospital, had steroid injections at the ready (as I'm only 31 weeks) now lastnight I had a heavy 'bloody show' same as the mucus plug but lots of blood in it and it's all brown? What are the differences between the both? Is one an indicator and the other not?

They are they same it's called mucus plug before labor and a bloody show when it's almost time for labor but it's the same thing

They both can be indicators that labor is close. The mucus plug can regenerate though and idk know the difference honestly I think it's about the same thing.
