Weeks or Months?

This is probably a stupid question but do you go by months or weeks when talking about your LO's age? My son is 16 weeks tomorrow, which in my head is 4 months, but it's technically not until Sept 28th. I don't know why I'm struggling so much with this 😭

I do months especially since that’s what the pediatrician uses to guide them for appointments, vaccines etc.

My son will be 4 months on the 23rd. That’s how I say it when asked or if it’s before half the month is over I would just say 3 months but since it’s close I say that he’ll be 4 months next week or on the 23rd. Not that it truly matters but to me my son is so much different then he was 3 weeks ago

Ya after she hit 12 weeks I just started going by months. She was born may 5th. So June 5th she was one month, etc... she’ll be 5 months on September 5th.

4 weeks does not equal a month except when February has 28 days. Otherwise, a year would only have 48 weeks and not 52.
I refer to my baby by months. I’ll say she’s 4 months and in a couple weeks I’ll say 4.5 months...but I know people who would say it in weeks. 
Right now, my baby is 4 months old but also 18 weeks.

I've been having the same issue! We're 17 weeks, but not officially 4 months until the 23rd.

Depends on who I’m talking to. If it’s someone that understands milestones then I say weeks, if they are unfamiliar or I’m not sure if they do I say months.
