4 Month Shots?

How did your little ones handle their 4 month shots? We have a sick baby with his first cold, who’s also teething, and our appointment is later today. Genuinely nervous for how the next couple of days are going to be lol.

Just an update: we went ahead and did the vaccines today. I just asked for our pedi’s opinion. She said as long as he didn’t have a fever (he didn’t), then there’s medically no reason not to and it’s completely our preference. Honestly I just chose to because he handled his 2 month shots ok and we’re already not sleeping & fussy so I’d rather just get it all out of the way at once 🤷🏻‍♀️ He was just sleepy tonight, hoping to have decent sleep so the little guy can fight off his cold. Thanks for all of your input!

I wouldn’t vaccinate. I’d do your research on the ingredients (poison) in vaccines...especially don’t while baby is sick

Please research vaccines. Especially doing them while your little angels immune system is already fighting. I would delay. The vaccine Conversation podcast is great info for this and also The Vaccine Re-education Group on Facebook. If you read the vaccine inserts it actually says not to vaccinate while your child is sick.

Ours had a cold and is teething as well. He got fussy about 3 hours after the shots and was fussy for the rest of the night. The humidifier, a bath, and a story put him to sleep for the night around 8 or 9.

Our nurse said to expect our little guy to do the same or a little better than at his 2-month visit. So your past experience is likely the best gauge. I recommend a couple easy days at home, with lots of cuddles, if you can.

Our girl yelped when they first poked. Didn't cry after, but later had a mini meltdown about 6 hours later. After a night of sleep she's back to her usual.

My baby had her shots two days ago. Yesterday was the worse with the 4mo sleep regression, teething. She doesn’t want to eat, fussy all the time and crying and her poop went solid. 😭 it is hard.

My LO did better with these ones than the first time but I know every baby is different. I think my daughter was fussy (and traumatized) after each set but my son doesn’t even cry. I’d just talk to your doctor if your worried.

He cried then slept for 6 hours. He had a bad fever for about 3 days. 4 days of just sleeping and fussing. Continued diarrhea. Today is day 5 fingers crossed he is back to himself.
