Boyfriend won’t stop?!😰

Question

I’m currently 19weeks pregnant and live with my boyfriend and his parents, were free of rent and any other bills so we have as much money for the baby! BUT both him and his mother smoke inside the fucking house.
I’ve asked my boyfriend to stop and he cut down but now has started having more again because he’s stressed with college and work. I cant take it! The smell and the risks are giving me such bad anxiety about my baby’s health and I’ll put my baby first no matter what, I don’t know what else to do because I’m always around some smoke. I could live with my family in a smoke free home except my family don’t except my boyfriend and he hates them so he wouldn’t be welcome to the house. I don’t know what to do anymore?!
Whenever I ask him to stop or bring it up he says “it’s an addiction do you even know what that means” or he’ll shrug it off. I used to smoke and quit as soon as I found out I was pregnant but apparently when I smoked it wasn’t an addiction, guess it’s just different for him. 
I’m just fed up now. My baby’s health should come first, not his addiction.

Then move out. You can’t make them stop due to it being his moms house. Ask them to take it outside or your moving.

By the sound of it they aren’t going to go outside to smoke even once the baby is here. So u have two options-1.stay there and allow baby to be exposed to constant second hand smoke. 2.leave and live somewhere else, where bf has no choice but to smoke outside. It’s ur decision because that’s literally the only choices here

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Some people are so selfish. Have you tried speaking respectfully to your boyfriends mom about it? Maybe tell her your doctor has concerns and you aren’t coming at her to start a fight but you would like to discuss it respectfully until you and he can afford to move out? The more calm and mature you sound the more effective you will be. Get some pamphlets and tell her and your boyfriend the doctor gave them to you? I know it’s a bit of a white lie but if you went to your dr and asked them for info they would give it to you making it not a total lie. And you could have your OB speak to your boyfriend at a visit. You’re not even asking them to quit. You’re just asking that they don’t expose the baby to it and to give you guys time to sort out where to move. I do think the ultimate decision has to be to find your own space and demand that he not smoke INDOORS once there (which you have EVERY right to do when you’re on the lease). Or tell him the ultimatum is that you’ll move in with your family to protect your baby until he can.

Quitting is hard but not impossible but could him and his mom maybe start smoking outside for the sake of the babies health? 
Maybe take him to talk to a pediatrician about the risks a baby faces when exposed to second hand smoke.
