How old is my baby ?! Lol

I know this may seem silly but my daughter was born on August 21st.  Today she’s 4 weeks which I thought would be a month old but someone said it would actually be September 21st when she makes a month 🥴 I’m so confused

Not every month has the same amount of weeks. That's why 4 weeks isn't a month and you go by the date instead.

I thought about doing it this way too, but then my husband pointed out that we wouldn’t call my baby a year old at 52 weeks, we’d call her a year old on her birthday. Weird way to put it, but it made me realize the month to month thing worked better than the 4 week thing!

My baby was also born Aug. 21 and I was also confuse. Today she’s 4 weeks but her Doctor appointment of one month is on Saturday the 21st. It kind of made sense when I read a comment the other day saying that if you count by weeks then every year you’ll have a different birthday. So now I go by the 21 instead of the weeks
