8DPO, fiancé finally understands how this works

Smack dab in the middle of the TWW, and going crazy. My fiancé is 37 and has no children. I have one son that was a pleasant surprise at the time (still is 😊) and he really, REALLY wants children. I was always like “ehh, I could or I couldn’t” but now I’m definitely on board the baby train.

So we made the appt to have my IUD removed in June and I’ve been tracking on here when I’m ovulating and putting in period dates as needed to help us keep track. I remind him what weeks are “needed weeks” for trying but I don’t think it clicked until yesterday.

We were having some fun times, and knowing that we’re TTC he asks where he should finish. I said it doesn’t really matter since I can’t get pregnant right now. He FREAKS OUT! “What do you mean?! You can’t get pregnant at all?!” I had to pull up the app and explain how ovulation works....in the middle of sex!

I will say though, after showing him how much time and effort I’ve put into keeping track of this, he got the biggest smile on his face. Now he finally gets how this whole game goes!

Anyone else have any clueless partners out there? 😂😂
