Silly men

I’m due on the 23rd. As of today I’m dilated 1cm and have been cramping since 1:30am last night. This is my second child but his first (my first I had as a teen now I’m 25). Anyways, he decided to take off all next week cause that’s when the baby is “due”. So today when I told him I’m only at a 1 which could change quickly or last until my next appointment (next Thursday) when my Ob would then schedule me for inducing he was not happy. He yelled about already taking off and how that the 23rd was suppose to be the day. No. No silly man. This baby will come whenever she wants. From today to tomorrow to this weekend or even not at all to where I need to be induced. Anyone else’s spouse not get that the due date does not mean the “due” date? Like I told him to wait to take off, it’s not my fault he didn’t listen.
