Postpartum hair loss

I have had kids before and been through the postpartum hair loss but this time around I feel like I'm going bald 😱. I am getting it all tangled around my fingers in the shower, it's all over my clothes, I have to clean my brush out every other week. I can tell I've pretty much went bald in 2 spots😭. My dr told me it's normal and will go back to normal and regrow in a year but I'm freaking out. Please someone tell me you have had similar post partum hair loss and that it does in deed grow back. Before baby was born pic to now.
