Has your LO been sick yet?

My hubby and I both woke up with sore throats today and I’m sure it’s a matter of time before my 14 week old gets it. How did your little one handle being sick? How long did it last?

Yep. She’s been sick twice (the joys of having a toddler sister).  She had a bad cold and an ear infection. She handled it ok. Hard few days but she recovered well.

Baby girl got a cold when she was 4 weeks old, she got it from her two year old brother. Fortunately it was just a cold and nothing more serious. She had a runny nose, tiny cough, and some congestion for a little over a week or so. We used a cool mist humidifier and a nasal aspiration to help with her symptoms.

No not yet and her big sister, myself and daddy have all been sick. My oldest has been sick twice and my LO has not been sick at all 🙌

No, not yet. He’s 15 weeks old fingers crossed.

Yup. At 3 weeks it landed her in the hospital. Shes had a few tummy issues since but she does okay overall.

Yes, just recovering from one. Both husband and I got it first. If you’re breastfeeding, continue feeding and do it often. It really helps because you’ll be passing antibodies to the body. Will help your LO recover from the cold quickly if he/she gets it at all. Other things that really helped were saline drops + suctioning nose with nose frida frequently, cool mist humidifier in the room at night.

My little guy has a cold still. Been 4 weeks. No fever. Doctor isn’t concerned. But he’s still fairly happy, just has coughing fits every so often 💔
