Best car seat?

Hello, my fellow mama’s! I’m currently pregnant with my 4th and it feels like I’m pregnant for the first time! I need suggestions on car seats! My first child had a Graco car seat, my second I believe it was an Evenflo and my last one had a Peg Perego, so I’ve had “cheap” to expensive and the only big difference was how heavy/light the car seat was. This time, I’m looking for recommendations!

Diono Radian! They have a steel frame. Literally a one stop shop going from birth up to 110ish pounds!

I always use Chicco Keyfit 30.  LOVE them! Once I move baby into a convertible, I use the Diono RXT.  I like having the infant seat in the beginning for when baby falls asleep and you can just carry them in to where your going.  Also, I live in the north where we get bad winters so having baby protected and not having to take them out is a must.

I second the Diono Radian. We have the Radian 3 RXT and it is fantastic. It is a convertible, so it will be with us for the long haul. We started with the Chicco KeyFit 30, but when summer rolled around, my LO would overheat in it in a matter of minutes. I was researching car seats that allowed for good air flow and came across the Diono brand. They're made slightly more narrow so you can fit multiple seats in your vehicle and they have a steel frame construction. It also comes in a variety of colors that I haven't seen in other brands. We love ours and the LO is very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I like the Urbini brand and baby trend the most. I’m using them this time. (I’ve had graco and evenflo with my first then switched to baby trend and then saw Urbini)

I got the Urbini Sonti on markdown at Walmart for $59.99 regular price $89.99. Just took it out of the box yesterday and set it all up (had to readjust straps to the lower/smaller positions for a newborn) and it feels very light without the base. I never used an infant seat with my first, we went straight to convertible and I baby wore a lot because I didn’t want to lug around the seat. But this is a winter baby (first was summer) and want to keep the little warm so I opted for the infant seat with a Cozy Cover on it.

Clek Foonf, Clek Fllo, or Nuna Rava. They all have exceptional safety ratings and they’re nontoxic because they don’t use flame retardants. We have the Nuna Rava and love it for many reasons, and it’s super easy to install. If you’re looking for an infant seat I recommend the Nuna Pipa.

I love our Britax B Safe 35, I got it on Amazon while they were having a deal. We got the car seat, car seat adapter, mirror, & sun shades for the car for $185!

I like having a bucketseat for the first year because it's just so much more convenient. Especially having 4 kids, life would be so much easier with an infant seat to carry baby around in vs the convertible- especially in bad weather, when you're in a rush, if someone is requiring more of your immediate attention than usual, etc. I liked our Graco snugfit 35 but I also like my neighbors Chicco infant carrier. The Chicco looks slimmer but I feel like they both take up a similar amount of space in the car. I'm on a FB pg- Car seats for Littles- where you can give your car make and model, kids ages and sizes, and car seats, and they'll tell you what will fit within your vehicle and budget, etc. It's great!

I had graco and Evenflo with my eldest, and Graco with my youngest. For baby number 3 we are going to use  uppababy mesa. I've heard great reviews and my friend with twins loves her mesa carseats :)
