Random doctor delivering me?

Today at my doctor appointment they said if I happen to go into labor on a Tuesday or Friday that my doctor would be the one delivering me, but if not then it’ll be whoever’s there that day from their office (they have like 7 doctors total). What???! Why did I spend the last 9 months bonding with 1 doctor & building trust when it’s most likely going to be some random delivering my baby? Is this normal?? This is my first baby obviously so I’m clueless.
