Should I find another hotel?

I just noticed that check in time for a place I booked ends at 11 the day I’m coming in. I’m flying and as we all know flights can delayed and anything can happen. Anyways the flight doesn’t get in until 10 that night plus the drive to the place is like 30 minutes. Would it be worth me spending a bit more to find someplace different? Also tomorrow is the last day I can cancel without being charged.

Call the hotel and ask if you can get a possible later check in time. If not, find another.

I think you’d be cutting it too close, maybe call the hotel and explain your situation, but if they can’t work with you on check in time then definitely find a different hotel.

i’d just call them and let them know you’re coming in. get whoever you’re speaking to’s name and go from there. if they can’t accommodate you in that small way, i doubt i’d want to stay there that much more than another place but give it a try first. let them know you plan on arriving 30 minutes to the cut off time with your drive included.

Usually if you just let them know and make sure they put a note on your reservation they don't care to hold it for you

I’d just find another hotel. I wouldn’t trust whoever you’re talking to on the phone to correctly relay any info to the people actually working the night I’d get in even if they’d agree to wait for you.
