Is it normal?

So my last period started on the second and ended on the 6th and I just started a new one today but It wasn't supposed to come till the 1st. Why did it come so early?

Honestly I just experienced this! I had my period start on the third this month and started spotting on the 16 since my ovulation day was today, the 19th I thought it was just ovulation spotting/bleeding. Boy was I wrong, I was really bummed out when I woke up to a whole period the next day. I was hoping to start trying to conceive this cycle but this completely through me off. I had the ovulation pains too, and now I’m just wondering when I would ovulate next or even when my next period will come since mine wasn’t due till the 3rd

Is it normal?
