I accidentally clicked “not sure” while scrolling by. Sorry. I’d answer yes, but with the caveat that I’d wait until the chord quits pulsating, not time it by minutes. That way you can be sure it is done transferring blood, oxygen, and stem cells to your baby.

My doctor allowed me to leave the cord attached to my babies 💛
After about 3-5 days later it came off. But we had instructions on what to do with it while we were home before it fell off  🥰
This time I am getting the placenta capsules to take.

I’m had a c section with my daughter and she waited one full minute then cut it. It’ll be the same this time around.

My sons breathing pattern was off when he was born. My Dr left the cord attached until they liked his breathing better because he was still getting oxygen through it so they didn't have to worry. It took about 10 minutes and then they put him on my chest and my husband cut the cord. It was nice not having to worry about him getting oxygen because we were still attached.
