MIL advice HELP!

My daughter is 5 months old. Her grandma (my MIL) always wants me to drop her off and have alone time. She won’t ask me, she’ll only ask my husband. My husband tells her that she can come over the house whenever she likes because I am now a stay at home mom. MIL told him no because I’m abrasive and always have an attitude and I don’t follow her advice on how to raise my daughter.

I’ve told my husband I welcome opinions but doesn’t mean I will follow them. My MIL is the type where it’s her way or no way. We have been to family gatherings and she takes my daughter outside if we’re at a restaurant or to a different room if we’re in a house....

Is this normal? Should I confront her??
