I was scheduled for induction 9/14 (at 40+6). Earlier that day, I lost my mucous plug and started having very minor contractions. We continued to the hospital for induction and received Cervidil. It made the contractions unbearable and my water broke within 3 hours. I tried to do a shot of morphine to the butt but it wore off quickly. I started an epidural that evening and pitocin the following morning. After about 8 hours of pitocin, we pushed for 1.5 hours and our sweet baby boy was born! What a blessing!!
