The little things

Now I’m understanding why the guy who lived in this apartment decided to move into the brand new one my boyfriend and I were supposed to get. The dishwasher is broken, the outside storage door is broken, the screen has a tear in it held by tape, the coax isn’t screwed into the wall and broken, the shower head was literally taped together and bf’s dad had to pry it off (moldy), there were nails covering the outside deck to where you snagged yourself on them, and honeycombs/hive on the outside deck. $1400 for this? I’m happy we have the place, but it feels like we’re paying way too much for how much there’s wrong with this place.
