Today I found out I have HG. I have a history of my lungs collapsing and I’ve been non stop throwing up since finding out (at 5weeks) that I’m pregnant. It has been so bad the last week I literally eat a couple bit of food, it sits for a max of ten minutes before I get sick. And it’s the worst vomit I’ve ever had, like it’s coming from my soul! I have never thrown up this hard. Well skip today, 9w+2d, I am in agony. Puking and my back is hurting like how it does when my lung collapses. So I had to get in to see my doc who explained HG and diagnosed me with it. Thankfully my lung is fine but I have thrown out my back completely from throwing up so much. so I am couch bound because there are not meds he can give me to take away the muscle pain. He put in for two new drugs, (since we’ve already tried zolfran with no results) promethazine and dicelgis (has anyone been on these?) But of course the pharmacy didn’t have that in so they are special ordering it and I have to wait god knows how long for that to come in. Has anyone been diagnosed with HG and had it get better in the second trimester? My doc said it’s not likely because it isn’t “morning sickness” I need a silver lining here!
