Contractions ??

Can someone tell me what contractions feel like ?? Like can you compare them to something maybe ?

Before my water broke it just felt like mild period cramps

Mine were very very very mild crampy/sore muscley feeling. Kinda just felt like I worked my abs out too hard at the gym a few days before. Didn't hurt...just kind of a mild annoyance.

In the beginning they are like bad period cramps coming in waves but are manageable, then getting longer and more painful as they go on. The cramps about 8cms are almost like you've eaten something really rotten and your body completely disagree' s with it. for me at that stage I felt like all my organs wanted to shoot out my backside a million miles per hour, and my body forced me to stand and move which isn't exactly ideal when your bent over a table ment to be sitting still waiting for the epidural needle to go in your back 😂 after that epidural.... pure bliss! Part of me wants to see if I have a shorter labour this time round and can do full natural... the other part wants to just ask for the epidural as soon as I get to the hospital, because after all you don't get a medal for putting up with the pain.

Mine felt like cramps but they would come in waves. Start out barely noticeable, got more painful, peaked, and then slowly went away.

I was induced, so I didn’t have any before then. But after they got the photo in going, it just felt like menstrual cramps times times 10

I thought I just had to take a hardcore shut and then I was just extremely constipated because my stomach is cramping the movies were what i was expected... to drop and scream,  but it was just more uncomfortable

I just thought I had to take the biggest poop of my life. That’s the only way I can describe it.

Having to poop and being stuck in traffic.. really needing to go but having to sit with the poop cramps for an extended period of time lol
