I love you ?!

Hey girls, so a little background of me and my boyfriend. We hung out a few times in high school and had some mutual friends. That was about 3-4 years ago. We both left our home town and ended up back here around the same time. He ended up msging me on fb and we hung out a few times kissed and then things just went from there, I guess you could say things moved fast he basically moved in with me at my dads. We have almost been together for 6 months. We’ve had arguments like any other couple. But we have been together almost every single day since we started dating. I have a two year old son who is obviously not his but he is so amazing with him. We’ve been through some pretty major stuff together within the short amount of time we’ve been together. I’m just wondering why he has not said “I love you” yet. How long do you typically wait? Does it matter who says it first. I don’t want to be the one to say it first because I don’t want him to just say it back and feel like obligated to ya know? So any advice ??
