Just curious because I just realized literally every single relationship I’ve been in I’ve been told this at least once (they’re all still alive tho so that manipulation wasn’t shit)

When I was 15, I was in a LDR(long distance relationship) with a guy my age. We live in the same state but different cities. He would threaten me with suicide if he thought I was leaving him or cheating on him. Neither of which was the case. I was oblivious to it until I looked back as I got older. 
Fucker cheated on me with another guy for the entire relationship. My ex dumped me for him and thanks to the abuse, I was suicidal and planned on taking my life the next day after getting home from school. My mom knew I was dumped but she didn’t know about my ex’s infidelity or about the abuse I was put through and to this day, she still doesn’t know. I cried over my ex for three months and had desires to harm or kill myself.
Now, I’m 21 and with a much better guy. I cut off contact with my ex when I was 17 as I refuse to be haunted by a relationship that destroyed my mental health. This week, it’ll be five years since the day he left me.

It’s ridiculous as he said if I left he would kill him self I left him 5 years ago and guess what..... he’s still alive. I think it’s a pathetic way to guilt someone to stay with you and he went with one of my friends 3 years ago and said same to her too

My ex slept under my window in my driveway for 2 weeks until my mother caught him. He had threatened suicide after I broke up with him for trying to strangle me. I got a restraining order. He came to my house and cried and screamed with a knife at his own throat under my window until the cops showed up. I have no idea what happened to him after that.

I have, and I finally left that toxic person. I'm at so much peace now and I'm not looking back this time even though I'm pregnant with our 4th child. Your peace is so important and especially when you're pregnant.
