Startbucks while pregnant ??

Question

I’m currently 21w and I been craving coffee!! 
I don’t really drink coffee but lately I’ve been drinking 1 or 2 a week...
But today I did drink 2  Ice caffe latte from Starbucks 😏 one in the morning before going to work (small one) , and one at dinner (big one) . I was wondering if it can be bad for the baby if I took 2 coffees today??? 
I’ve read online that it can cause miscarriage have anyone been there?? Or something wrong with the baby???

It’s not going to cause a miscarriage by having two coffees in a day. However it’s important to track the amount of caffeine you consume daily. So it’s not necessarily about the number of drinks you have as it is more about the milligrams of caffeine consumed. About 200mg maximum is professionally recommended. I’ve heard of 300 being okay, but 200 is the general consensus. It’s also dependent upon how sensitive you are to caffeine as well. For me, I can barely have a few sips of caffeine without getting jittery and feeling sick. So I avoid it all together. But if you’re a normal coffee drinker, a cup or two won’t hurt. But I would avoid it at night personally. 
The concern with caffeine during pregnancy is that it causes your blood pressure to rise and your heart rate to increase as well. It also quickly dehydrates you. Anything you consume also crosses the placenta to your baby. So with caffeine being a stimulant, it can cause your baby to potentially be overactive and effect it’s own heart rate. If you’re super ridiculous with the caffeine daily, and I mean WAY too much, then yes. It can potentially cause miscarriage or at the very least a lower birth weight.
You’re allowed to have coffee, but just research the blend of coffee you’re drinking and the amount that they use. Each blend of beans is different in its caffeine level.

Lately I have been getting  get a grande iced pumpkin spice latte. Sometimes full caffeine, sometime decaf. If I have the full caffeine I dont have tea or chocolate or anything else caffeinated  for the day. I was told to keep it under 200g
According to the nutritional page on Starbucks' website, a grande pumpkin spice latte has about 150mg of caffeine, whereas a grande Pike Place roast offers approximately 310mg of caffeine. So, the PSL doesn't have as much caffeine as your classic cup of coffee, but it definitely does have caffeine.

I drink a small frappe and sometimes dr pepper or sweet tea. I would see how much caffeine is in the drinks and how much is allowed for the day. I think its 200mg of caffeine per day.  It shouldnt be a problem unless you talk to your doctor

You’re just fine. One cup of coffee a day is totally fine for you and baby. On bad days I have two coffees. You’re not gonna miscarry. It’s ~200 mg a day that’s considered safe, but don’t overthink that if you’re over by a bit.
