Sometimes I have to work sixty hours a week. Monday-Thursday 630 am to 500 pm and Friday-Saturday 430am-300pm, shes at daycare on base a five minute drive away Monday-Thursday, so I'll go see her for about ten minutes a day then have to turn around and get back to my warehouse on time. I'm only allowed a half hour lunch.

10 minutes to see her

5 minutes back

10 minutes to heat my lunch and eat

Wouldnt trade it for the world. Anyway shes been home sick the last few days and even though we live right off base I cant make it home and back in my lunch time. So I've been working long hours and not seeing her but when I get home and her brown eyes light up and her whole little body wiggles with happiness and she runs excitedly into my arms it not only brightens my mood but makes all the long/tough days worth it. Everything I do, I do for this little girl! 💛
