Bummed

My husband and I haven’t had a date night in months... literally since May. We planned this one for 2 weeks and is suppose to be tonight. Well my husband and his father own a business and his younger brother works for him. We get a call last night that he broke his hand and can’t work this weekend now. So now my husband is working today and tomorrow and said we can’t have date night tonight because he’s going to be working late 😢😢

I know he has to do it I’m just bummed I was really looking forward to some time just us. My husband works until 6:30 most days and our baby goes to bed between 6:30-7. So not only am I bummed we’re missing time being regular people but also bummed he basically hasn’t seen our daughter in a week. He sees her for like ten minutes a day. Usually Saturday and Sundays he gets to spend more time w her but not this week and prob not for the next 6 weeks 😢😕

Also bummed because now I’m solo parenting. It gets exhausting when it’s just me all day long. I know I’m not a single parent but when he works all the time it does kind of feel this way.
