Baby shower and pumping?

Hi ladies,
My sisters baby shower is on Oct 6th. I'll be away from 11-5ish. I have a few bags of milk stashed (will pump some more just incase for my husband so he's prepared). Wondering if I need to pump while I'm at the shower? Ideally I don't want to but I also don't want my milk supply to decrease. 
If I don't pump, will this affect my milk supply?

I agree that you should bring your pump. While one day won’t ruin your supply you are going to be very uncomfortable if you don’t pump if your body is used to nursing once or more during that time period.

I don't think one event will risk your supply (if you keep up your regular routine otherwise), but I would bring my pump just in case I got too uncomfortable it if I got delayed.

6 hours is kinda a long time not to pump.. some people can go without pumping their whole work day while others will hurt after 3 hours. I'd pump halfway just in case. Wouldn't want to risk my supply!

Yes, for many women just a single missed pump can mess with your supply. I’d pump right before, at least once in the middle, and right after.

For me a missed pumping session will lower my supply for days. But each mama is different and some can with no problems. You know your body best and how it will effect you.
