Did the school handle this appropriately?
I reported this boy multiple times and every time I reported him the school said that they’ll ‘talk to him’ I reported him for inappropriate messages, and threatening to hit me. I even showed them a list of what he’s been doing wrong to me the past few years and when the school got questioned of it they claimed to have not known about it) I recently sent an email to the board of education about him and the teachers I’ve told at the school and the school told me that since i reported him for bullying and inappropriate touching that “either him or I can be found guilty for it, him for assault and bullying or me for false reporting” which makes no sense because I have special needs problems and if he’s not guilty of anything then how can I get a charge for it? Besides that the law says that I can’t receive punishment for it (especially since I’m underage) Also since I’ve reported him before than they should of took it more serious but he still had contact with me, I also didn’t get to tell the whole story to the school (which I’ve thought about going to the board of education about it to tell them since the school tries to act like they’ve helped me but didn’t) Besides that I’ve still seen him at school and at the football game last night since the reporting. His friends have also been requesting to follow me on Instagram and laugh and stare at me when they see me which makes me feel like he told them about it. I got told that the results would come back to me in 10 days. When the school spoke to me about it they told me that the police would also be there to speak to me (why would you get police in the room with me if I’m not speaking and I’m crying while facing the wall) the school scared me then I didn’t wanna say anything about it. Even one of the male teachers that was questioning me of it made jokes about it before he questioned me and said “since I’m a male, you want me to step out” and I shook my head yes but it wasn’t because he was a male it was because he was scaring me and not taking it seriously.
