I’m currently in labor and I have the epidural In me, do they take it out at a certain point or do they keep it in while you are pushing the baby out?

I told them not to touch it or turn it down when I pushed. I used a mirror to see what I was doing. Best decision ever because I can’t imagine being stitched without one.

They keep it in until you deliver your baby and the placenta.

They remove it after you give birth but they may turn down the medication when it’s time to push so you can feel a bit better once baby is born. Hope everything goes perfect! Congrats!!
