Panic when baby isnt in bed on time?

Does anyone else panic when baby isnt in bed on time? Like if your out to eat or something?

Nope.  It’s gonna happen occasionally.  If she’s tired, she falls asleep in the car seat.  If she stays awake to see what’s going on, she sleeps better & longer.

Yes. I wouldn’t say it’s a full blown panic, but I definitely become antsy when I can tell he’s getting tired and we are our somewhere. 
I recognize that flexibility is important, but I keep the flexibility for the day and napping. He’s so good at sleeping through the night (🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻) that I do NOT want to mess up anything and want to have him asleep by a certain time every night. 
You’re not alone, but I do believe there are varying degrees. Postpartum anxiety exists and may be worth talking to your doctor about if you’re concerned about your panic. ❤️

Yes. I didn’t put my first on a schedule and it took forever to reverse that. Baby is now on a perfect routine schedule, same thing every night. Dinners out mean babysitter. I’m not making same mistake twice.

No we don’t freak out he has got his self into a schedule all by his own, my partner and I were happy to go with the flow but our son goes to sleep the same time no matter where we are, although we’ve only been out twice around his bedtime before.
What is it that you panic about?

Try not to be rigid. When babies can stick to a schedule, it is amazing, but they also need to learn to cope outside of that schedule. You don’t want to force yourself into a box where you can only do things when baby is awake

No. Schedules are important but so is learning some flexibility.
