Copper IUD

Curious if anyone has used the copper IUD and how did you like it? I’m planning to get it after this baby but I want to make sure I’m not putting something in my body that might make me infertile. We would like to have another in a year or two. Can someone give me some insight on this? I like that it’s non hormonal and won’t affect my breastfeeding. My biggest fear is not being able to get pregnant after it’s removed tho. I’ve always said I’d never get anything that I can remove from my body myself so I’m a little nervous.
