How much formula?

Our little guy turns 5 months old tomorrow and with me back at work teaching being able to pump has been a challenge during work hours. 
We're going to start supplementing with formula but are unsure of how much and how often.

My 5 month old is drinking 4 oz bottles every 3 hours. The odd time he wants a little more (if he’s still fussin) so we make another 2 oz - he will drink a little of that so he’s satisfied

I'd start mixing it with your breastmilk like half and half. And it's one scoop every 2 ounces.

It’s 2.5 oz per pound of weight for formula. If you are doing half and half then make a 1/2 a days worth of formula. Right now we started feeding our almost 6 month old 2 oz of puree and about 4 oz of formula.

one scoop to every two ounces. Your baby will let you know how mych he needs & how often. Its not a scheduel, it's their hunger. My son will sometimes get 4/6 oz (he's 5 months) sometimes 8 oz Every 2 hours. He's mostly breastfed, but when we're out & don't have my pump, i'll give him formula.
