Aah yes similar words then - mama, dada, birdie, ba (ball), up, out, help, more, Peppa Pig or just Peppa, all done, doggy, eggy, nana, sometimes bye, hiya, digger, car or gar, toot toot (for his train).

They say once the grommets are in, his speech should pick up 🤷🏼‍♀️
