Immediate attraction (love at first sight) real or not real?

So, I saw this randoam guy at my church's gathering and there was just some kind of energy that drew him to me. It wasn't strange and he wasn't intentionally luring, I honestly don't think he noticed me, but it's just that I got the feeling that I "had to get to know him" because something inside me told me that I'd regret it if I didn't...

...and then when I got the nerve to try to talk to him, someone pulled me into another conversation lol *sigh*

Oh well, maybe next time!

I know it's not 'love at first sight' but this is very intriguing as I've never experienced this before.

Any tips or advice?

Absolutely! Does it happen with every guy? Probably not. With my ex he was nothing more then a guy who eventually became my friend and then I started dating. 
With My current boyfriend though the second someone said his name (before I even met him) I felt something! It was so strange! And when I met him I could just picture myself with him. I had no problem talking to him either! (I suffer from anxiety so to me that's a really big deal!) 
It was the weirdest and best experience!

I think it might be real, that's how I met my boyfriend. I saw him and instantly felt a connection. So I called out to him and said "hey you look cool" and we've been dating for two years now😂

Immediate attraction is definitely a thing. I went to a local DIY music venue and while I was watching a band play I kept looking at the drummer. I was super drawn to him and honestly pretty turned on watching him play. Talked to him later that night but he left to pack up the drum kit and amps. Before he left though he rushed back to give me his number but my phone was dead so I gave him mine instead. Long story short we're a couple now and I swear I've never been with someone I'm so compatible with and he feels the same way. Glad I took the initiative to go talk to him. I was watching him play like "damn that's one fine drummer there and I'm gonna make him miiiiiiine"

Well you can this someone is pretty/handsome or whatever but is that really what you fall in love with? That's just how I think about it. You can't love someone just for their looks. There has to be more to it.
