How can I get my dog to stop licking the couch?

She makes these giant wet spot on the couch and even on my bed. When I see her doing it, I make her stop, but she does it when I'm not around as well. 
I'm getting so sick of having to grab a towel every time I want to sit down.

Not to be this person, but have you looking in to why she’s doing it?
I had a corgi who used to do this when he was anxious or in pain (he had bad allergies). Getting to the bottom of WHY it was happening allowed us to help him.

I’d investigate the itching causing her to lick. 
My dog isn’t allowed on the couch except on his blanket. Get a blanket or cover just for her and teach her that’s her spot and her only spot
And I put a sheet over the bed during the day just for him to keep the dog hair off so that could help too.

Our Dalmatian used to do that. After one too many times of coming to bed and finding my pillow and blankets soaked, he’s no longer allowed to be in the bedrooms alone, either when we’re not home or when we’re in the other room. I keep the bedroom doors shut, and for the couches they make couch covers(like a thick sheet made for a couch) which I put on when we leave. It catches fur and if he licks, I just throw them in the wash.
