Anyone else concerned about baby hiccuping?

Just curious.. I read it could be from cord compression??? 
Maybe I just over worry about thing 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Sure, it COULD be. Smelling rotten eggs COULD be a brain tumor...but you could also just have rotten eggs in your kitchen. 😜

I called my doctor about it because my baby hiccups 3-5x a DAY and it drives me crazy (had also read about the cord problem). They said it is perfectly normal and means baby is developing well!

My daughter hardly ever had hiccups and the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. Hiccups are their way of practice breathing, it’s normal.

Unfortunately my first two had hiccups constantly and both had the cord wrapped around their neck tightly. I have no idea if it is an actual indication or not, but they had hiccups A LOT

It's normal. Both my babies have gotten hiccups at least 3-4x a day for 10-15 minutes at a time.

My son had the hiccups constantly (still gets them frequently, actually) and he didn’t have the cord around his neck. Granted, I had a really short cord, but I don’t know that hiccups are something to worry that much about. Wouldn’t hurt to ask your doctor though if you’re concerned!

I was concerned when I HADN’T felt them yet. My first had them all the time. Now I feel it regularly. Totally normal and reassuring too. Let’s me know she’s still head down since I feel them super low.
