How did you know you were in a good place in life to start ttc?

Hi, I'm 30 and I know I'm not financially ready yet for a child but part of me wants to start ttc. Some days I feel strongly about it (ttc) and other days, I'm strongly against it. How did you all know it was "time"?

I am married, financially stable, old enough to know and young enough to have an easier pregnancy... Plus my husband had been begging me for a child for over 2 years XD Honestly you are never "fully" ready. It can be your finances, psychological readiness, not having the perfect job or living conditions, thinking you are too young or too old... But people still raise kids) good luck!

I don't think it will ever be the "right" time. We all have so many stresses that day to day can take over and we can always find a reason why it's not the right time. So, sometimes you just gotta go for it. That being said, a baby is a financial responsibility and I feel that if it's money holding you back, you might want to consider waiting. Having a baby is stressful enough, adding financial stress may be more than you need. Good luck!

Parenthood is stressful. Add the fact that you aren't financially stable, and it is a hell of a lot more stressful. Having a child you know you cannot provide for doesn't seem like the wisest life path, but your life is your own to lead.
