Baby Girl Born September 9th 💓🥰
My little girls due date was September 11th but I decided to get induced on September 9th. The morning of the 9th I got showered and headed to the hospital at 5 am! (induction was at 6 and I was still late whoops) 😂 I didn’t sleep AT ALL the night before I was a nervous wreak! I get checked in and Into the cute buttless gown and got started on pitcon at 7:30 am and got my water broke at about 8:00 am. When I arrived at the hospital I was 3cm and 70% effaced. My nurse kept coming in to see if I was ready for my epidural and at first I wasn’t feeling anything I felt great. Then all of a sudden the contractions hit me like a ton of bricks they were SO intense. They got me a yoga ball to bounce on to try to help with the contractions. I was bouncing maybe 10 minutes and all of a sudden my water just starts GUSHING out it wouldn’t stop and I had completely filled the big puppy pad looking thing they set on the yoga ball 😂It was leaking ALL over the floor I didn’t know what to do I had almost formed a river in my room bahaha i got my man to hit the call light and when my nurse came in the only thing I could say was “I think I’m leaking everywhere” she about died laughing telling me I’m flooding the place whoops 🤣 she got me up to the bathroom and at this point I’m in tears w the contractions. I got my epidural at 9:30 and awkward moment when the students who came in to watch the epidural being done, I went to high school with so they got to see me naked 😂😐 as soon as I got my epidural my doctor checked me again I was 5cm 80% effaced things were moving faster than I had thought! I LOVED the epidural other than the fact that it made me shake uncontrollably literally looked like I was having a seizure it was so bad. I couldn’t even nap because I was shaking too bad. At about 11:30 doctor came in to check me again I was at 7 cm and fully effaced! I was trying to text my mom freaking out to hurry and come we thought I’d probably be In labor until the next day! Last time my doctor came in to check me was 12:30 and I was fully dilated and ready to push! My heart was racing I didn’t know what to expect it was all happening so fast! At about 1:00 they had gotten everything ready for me to start pushing my baby out!!! My nurse asked me if nursing students could come watch and I felt so bad for saying no but I am glad I did It would’ve been so uncomfortable having so many people in there. I started pushing and I had literally NO clue what I was doing I’m almost positive I was pushing wrong for a while because one of the nurses kept telling me to push with my bottom 😂 I felt hopeless because I couldn’t feel anything at all so I felt like I wasn’t making any progress. At this point I was so tired I was practically falling asleep in between pushes one of my nurses said “she is so relaxed” when I was just falling asleep I was so tired hahaha. They gave me an oxygen mask because I seriously thought I was dying trying to push I kept forgetting to breathe. Out of no where my doctor said she saw her head and for me to keep pushing and 4 more pushes and she was out. My baby girl, Vanessa Marie was born on September 9th at 1:41pm. 7 pounds 3 ounces and my heart has never been so full! My doctors were amazed how well I did for this being my first baby and being so little of a person lol. About 45 minutes and 36 stitches later and I was good to go! I asked my man if I got cut open or if I ripped naturally he says he thinks I got cut but he was trying not to watch that part because he didn’t wanna pass out 😂 he also just had to inform me that I did in fact poop while pushing 😂😭My delivery experience was amazing! My postpartum stay in the hospital was not though I actually left after one night I was sitting waiting with my bags packed for the 24 hour mark so I could go home they were awful to me but it was all about my little girl so I didn’t even care! She’s two weeks old now and such a blessing to my life. It’s hard at times but I wouldn’t want it any other way I can’t imagine my life without her 💘
Here’s my baby right after she was born and almost two weeks old 🥺❤️
