Dog and a baby

I have no clue if this is the right place to be asking this. But I live with my boyfriend and I’m a nanny for his one year old cousin at our house during the day. We also have a dog. We only have one babyproof room in the house, which is the living room. The dog LOVES to chew up all the babies toys. She doesn’t respond to scolding, she doesn’t know how to drop things, she thinks it’s fun and runs around the room with the toys in her mouth. The baby likes to hand her toys as well, so she thinks it’s okay to chew them. We have toys in the living room for the dog and the baby likes to either chew on them or take them from the dog when the dog has them. We always tell the baby no and move her away, but she goes right back and it’s a never ending cycle. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what I can do? Anything that might help. And there’s no way I would keep the dog in another room, she has separation anxiety and goes to the bathroom in the house when left alone for extended periods of time. We do have a gate separating the kitchen and living room and the dog just jumps over it.
