Endometriosis help- new diagnosis

So I was just “diagnosed” with Endo last Friday. I put that in “ “ Bc she told be it was more of a clinical diagnosis until a diagnostic laparoscopy was done to confirm.

Back story: I started BC pills at age 15 (I’m 33 now) for heavy long periods. I had to switch pills 3 different times Bc they would stop working to control my periods. In 2014 I came off of them permanently after a miscarriage. My periods seemed to normalize and everything was good. However it took 3 years (and 1 round of Clomid) to have my son in 2017. I was told by my OB/GYN at the time that she felt I didn’t ovulate normally, but an Endo diagnosis was never mentioned. One problem I did develop prior to my pregnancy was difficulty peeing, I’d go, then 10-15 min later I’d have to go again. I was put on overactive bladder medication by that same GYN but stopped it a few weeks later when I found out I was pregnant. Strangely all these symptoms stopped when I got pregnant.

Fast forward to now: my son will be 2 soon and I’ve started having more issues. I have really bad back and pelvic pain both during my ovulation window and during my cycle. I’ve also starting have the peeing problem again as well as bad constipation (I have IBS so usually I have to opposite problem). My cycles are also now longer (about 7 days), heavier, and I have a lot more clots. And I’m excessively tired and run down feeling during that window too.

I had a vaginal US done which showed a slightly thickened uterine lining (10mm), but no fibroids. This is what led her the the diagnosis.

So basically she recommended that if I want to get pregnant again to start trying now (which we already have been the last 2 yrs, but she wants me to do Clomid again). She didn’t want me to start hormone therapy until I was done having babies, as she said this might make my infertility worse. She also gave me the option of having a laparoscope. Which is why I’m posting this....is it worth it? I know it would give me a definitive answer but what else? I already had an emergency CS so I worry about scar tissue and adhesions, esp since I’m not a VBAC candidate. Any help, advice, personal stories would be greatly appreciated!

I should also mention my husband is on an overseas tour, meaning for the next 2 yrs I’m a single mom. (He flys home for about a week every 3 months if your wondering the obvious lol) So having a baby right now wouldn’t exactly be the best timing, but she kinda made me feel like the longer I wait the more I risk not having another chance.
