Diaper shower?

Instead of having a baby shower, my husband and I have decided to just do a gathering and asking for diapers and wipes only. We just can’t figure out when to have it. I’m due January 24 (with a possibility of having my due date upped a week). When would YOU have it?

I’d do November cause December is busy and everyone is buying for Christmas

I’m due January 14th and having mine October 19th. I wanted it to be before all the holidays and I wanted to be able to have it outdoors. If I were you I’d do October or early-mid November.

I’m due in December and I decided to do my shower in October because of November and December having holidays. I personally think it’s best to do it before holidays cuz people spend money on holidays and have plans.

Maybe early November?
My thinking is, December is so busy with Christmas and traveling and people will have plans and be broke. Then in January people recover from being broke from Christmas. Late November is thanksgiving and people will have plans 🤷🏽‍♀️ 
I’m due dec 10 and my shower is this weekend to avoid all that chaos. Hope this helps :)
