I have a 2 month old baby at home- husband wants to rescue a puppy. Should we get the puppy too in addition to having a newborn baby? I would have to be with the pup and train it as I’m on mat leave during the day. Husband says he’ll take care of the puppy at night and take it out. I want a dog, I totally do! But I’m worried I’m going to be the one to have to take care of the dog as well as everything else I do already! What should I do?! The puppy is so sweet and would make a great addition to the family, but I’m scared of how much work it will be with our baby. Any advice? Has anyone had a puppy and baby at the same time?
