Messed up belly piercing, help

I just recently got my belly button redone for my birthday and it looks normal for the first day or twoish but now it’s starting to become more and more swollen along with the redness and it hurts. You can see where I had it done before, the old hole spot is in between the two balls now, and so I feel he did a horrible job and pierced it way too high and now my body is rejecting it. 😭 do I clean it and wait for the swelling to go down or do I take it out now?? Please help. Last time I had it done I was 13, that was 7 years ago, but I know for a fact it didn’t do this, then. 😪

Note; I do have a stretch mark where the piercing is, if that makes any difference.
