Anyone have a VBAC 1 year or less postpartum ??

Britt

My dr said to wait one year in between to be eligible. However based on the timing of some things I might be just shy of the one year so wondering if that would completely compromise my chances.

I haven’t had a VBAC yet, but at my 6 week postpartum visit today I asked my doctor for his recommendation for having a successful VBAC. He recommended waiting a year after delivery to try to conceive but did mention that if I got pregnant tomorrow he would let me try a VBAC. My C-Section was because of my placenta being too low, so he has no concerns about my body being able to labor. However, my husband and I plan on waiting the recommended year. I am glad to know that if we get pregnant before the year that I can try for a VBAC.

They say wait one year to get pregnant again not one year between deliveries. Two years or longer between deliveries is safest.

I'm going to be trying a VBAC we found out we was pregnant with this one 8 months after my c-section. She's due in 4 days.

My doctors recommendation was to wait 1 year to try and conceive again. Got pregnant at 10 mpp (not trying). She is going to let me try a Vbac. I just have to sign a sheet saying I understand the risks and that she went over them with me. She isn’t super concerned about it but did say I would have an ultrasound late in pregnancy to get a better guesstimate of size due to my first being 9 lbs

I'm surprised at a year! I've never heard less then 18 months between births.
