I'm engaged 🥰

My boyfriend of 2 and a half years proposed in front of our entire family, at our end of summer bbq party last weekend.

My dad is a former photographer and said at the bbq he wanted to do family pictures because none of us are all together as often since most of us moving out.. plus theres two new babies (my first neice and nephew!) So he wanted updated pictures. Well, he went through us 6 kids, the sisters that had their babies, and then got to me and my boyfriend. Well, Dalton, my boyfriend, has this thing where he asks me or anyone in his family "Has anyone told you they love you today?" I answered my usual Yes, you did. But this time he changed it by asking a second question, "Has anyone asked you to marry them today?" and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

He later told me he wanted to do it surrounded by our families, and had my dad in on it, obviously so he could capture it happening. My youngest sister, later told me also that he had gone to everyone over the past couple months asking for their blessings to marry me, not just my dads.

We have a date picked out, 10.24.20 and we're overwhelmed with excitement
