Ladies, I can't seem to keep a man, they either cheat on me or walk away. My ex cheated and left when the girl got pregnant. My other ex broke up with me too. Almost every serious relationship I've had, I've been broken up with. I guess I'm a boring gf. (maybe because I'm in grad school -PhD and don't go out much) 🤷🏽‍♀️. I even took some time off dating to take care of my mental health. And I've been single for almost a year now but then I started talking to this guy recently and today he sent me this 😳. I'm starting to think I'm the problem 😢

He’s literally telling you that you’re not the problem, he is. LISTEN to him. TALK to him about it. If someone explains themselves like this and you twist it around so it looks like you’re the problem, you’ll never have a successful relationship. He’s expressing his feelings and you’re looking over what he’s saying and making it about you.

I will try to keep this short I am now 29
But when I was 
18 - “engaged” my then boyfriend cheated on me so I broke up with him
19 - my then boyfriend went on a family cruise hung out with another chick and hooked up with her. I ended it 
20 - got with a guy from a college class. He started to show his true anger issues and called me a roommate because I didn’t want to have sexual with him daily. I kicked him out
22 - met a guy who said he was divorced (lies) saw he was still taking to his ex. I broke up with him 
23 - met a guy at a Halloween party. Talked for 3 hours. 6 months in I got pregnant. A year later he proposed. That same year we got married. 
6 years later and I’m still with the man I met at a Halloween party. 
I was cheated on in every relationship I was in until I met my husband. Whether the relationship was short or 2 years. It was awful feeling like I was the problem. These guys were from all walks of life. I never dated the same type twice. 
Like I said, I am 29 and I see looking back it was because I was giving too much of myself to them without demanding equality from them. I left them use and abuse me. I thought I needed a relationship. So I was quick to jump into a relationship. 
I took some time off like you to work on myself. I unexpectedly met my husband and a friends party. He and I were the only ones who weren’t drinking. We spoke about life for 3 hours it was special and I knew I had to pursue him. I am an outgoing woman who isn’t afraid to express what I want. 
I hope you find your inner fire and know that it’s not you. You are strong and deserve love. So please start with yourself. Your heart deserves your love above anyone else’s. 
I hope my story sounds similar to you to where you find hope in it. Your future is bright and brilliant and you will find your person who will love you and see you’re worth everything

Men are assholes, you’re better than him, I know you don’t feel that way right now but let’s be real you’re probably a 10 girl and you’re way out of his league. 😘 I’ve been in your situation before, I used to think it was me but I was just dating assholes and then I found my fiancé and he’s my best friend. You are worth it and you’re amazing try and tell yourself that every day!! One day you’re going to sit down with your man and think about all the other jerks you’ve dated and laugh and think thank God it didn’t work out with them because then I wouldn’t be with this wonderful man. You just got to get to that point. It’s worth the wait.

Some ppl just want to take things SLOW. Like super sloooooooow. My SO was like this to an extent. I spoke to him and let him know it was okay, & told him I enjoyed our friendship, he agreed and asked to continue to hang out. I gave him time & didn’t rush him into a relationship. Which I truly wasn’t pushing for a relationship, I enjoyed his friendship & our time together (as did he.) However, when things got intimate I did ask for exclusivity. We both agreed that we were only ‘dating’ & having sexual relations with each other.  We ‘dated’ for 7 months! It was great, by far both of our favorite time in our relationship. We had time to actually build a friendship which I feel like so many ppl skip over these days. He was truly me best friend & lover❤️❤️ unfortunately, our lives are leading us apart now and are splitting. BUT, the 7 months in the beginning when he still was unsure were truly happiest moments in my entire adulthood. To this day we still talk and agree on that. I still love that man to pieces, & he will always be one of my bestest friends❤️❤️
I think you should tell him it’s cool, and that you enjoy yalls time together & hope to kick it with him here & there still🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ be super casual.... don’t sound too desperate lol

It’s no big deal. I had about ten boyfriends before I got married and that doesn’t include ones I just dated. I don’t think you’re gonna find Mr Right from the jump....you’ll date many frogs 🐸 first. Just enjoy dating.
