HSG TEST....HAVE A FRIEND COME OR NO?" /> My husband is unable to attend due to work and I'm wondering if I should have a friend come to drive me home. Not too sure what to expect....thanks!

You don't need a driver it can be uncomfortable or painful but as soon as it was over I was ok to drive.

Nobody is allowed in the room bc it's an x-ray. Not even your husband. At least my office wouldn't allow it. I'm not going to lie, it's uncomfortable, but it's super quick and when it's over..  It's over..  The pain doesn't stay with you. I prepared myself by expecting the worse and it wasn't as bad as I predicted. ALSO.. I prepped myself by saying to myself..  If you can't get through this like a big girl..  Then you can't give birth to a baby.
