Clomid without a prescription

Has anyone here taken clomid without a prescription? My doctor wouldn't even consider prescribing clomid, she wanted me to go to a specialist for ivf as that's how she concieved her son. I ordered 100 mg online and started taking it today on cd 3. Now I'm worried I should have used a lower dose since I'm not being monitored, but I was told that it's less effective if your overweight. I'm 25 years old 5'7 296 pounds I've lost 112 pounds over the last 3 years and have been furiously ttc for over 18 months with absolutely no luck. I know my weight is concerning but it is a work in progress and I REALLY want a baby. As bad as it may sound that is what motivated me to start losing the weight in the first place. If anyone has been down this road any advice or information would be very helpful
