First appointment

Hi ladies. So I had my first appointment today, the doctors put me at 9w4d with a due date of May 15th. The midwife tried to listen for a heartbeat, but couldn't pick one up. She said this is normal and told me not to panic (obviously that's hard to do) She said they can't always be heard this early. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem, and when you first heard a heart beat. I'm trying to stay positive, because she said everything else was fine. I go next Tuesday for an ultrasound. Hate having to wait, ugh! Just need peace of mind.
